Saturday morning I left for Palo Duro Canyon at 4 in the morning.
It stormed like crazy for the first two hours of my drive.
When I found this sign the sun had just started to come out
and it was still pretty early. I had to walk a way up the side of a train
track as there was no road to this sign. The way the sun was lighting
up the sign and the field was amazing. The red dirt, bright green grass
and rust color of the sign were stunning with the sun shining on them.
This picture doesn't quite do justice to the scene...but it's close. The
discoloration on the sign isn't PS errors....it's just the sign's true state.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

There's more to see than can ever be seen. Maybe in my gallery, too.
