Beautiful - as always.

OK - before I move out of the Lone Star State (some day), going to Enchanted Rock is on my to-do list. Does it really creak and make noises as it cools in the evening? I've heard that's why it's "enchanted"....I work with a lot of glass, and I've heard the glass sheets do this...so why not a big rock?

Thanks for the view through your eyes :-)

Interesting effect with the clouds - they're positioned rather nicely as if they arte the leaves and crown the tree is missing :)

It looks as if this tree tries to suck some life out of the clouds. :D
Wonderful colours (as always ;))
It's a pity there's a shrub on the left, but I suppose it was a much too hard job to remove it before taking the picture

Une photo un peu moin sombre que d'habitude sur laquelle on voit mieux les détails. Le mélange des couleurs est harmonieux et c'est une belle composition. Nice shoot ! ;)

i think a lot of people would have taken this photo more specific to the tree or the cracked up dirt, but i think this shot really shows what they would have missed. Another awesome nature shot with those signature clouds. great job melissa, i love it!

Truly beautiful; it looks like you're using a polarized lense, gray filter and wide angle together. Am I right? Regardless, you've packed an incredible amount of forms and saturated color into such a small image--it's almost unearthly. Wonderful shot! :omfg:

Well, it's been a while, hasn't it?

It's good to see you're style hasn't changed all that much over the past few months. I dig your consistency, and always have. You've got a nice subject here. It all flows pretty smoothly except the cloud at the top. It just seems a little over-fucked (sorry, my vocabulary is limited tonight). Other than that, very nice. The color work at each level of the photo seems to work well.

More power to you, babe. Keep up the good work.
