Girl Speaks To Woman by Konijntje Girl Speaks To Woman by Konijntje
The space, the bench, and the lighting in this room are at least as pretty as anything on the walls.

Daily Deviation

Given 2006-08-06
Girl Speaks To Woman by =Konijntje It's funny ... this deviation was suggested twice by two different deviants. There's something that calms me in this photo. Museums tend to do that. That ... and it's very well composed and nice use of negative space! ( Suggested by rapidograph and Featured by cweeks )

I haven't really stopped...in fact, I just upgraded to a new Nikon D90. Maybe "slowed down" is a better way to look at it. :aww: I just have so many other interests it's sooo hard to find time for anything... I have A LOT I've taken...but unless I think they are REALLY good I don't post them...and so nobody ever sees them. I do love it, though...I love capturing the moody sky and clouds...

I love the composition. It all flows together nicely... helped by the black and white.

You can just feel the silence in here.

I just have to ask....is this the Modern Art Museum in Fort Worth? Just curious, I don't mind being corrected.

Lovely photograph, I love the tones.

The black and white in this photo really sets the mood. In addition, the space of the room suggests the solitude of the woman even more. :-)

Hmm. Most of my 18 mm shots never seem that wide. This is a really spectacular picture. Such a quiet, empty feel to it (for obvious reasons, I guess). I really love it. Great job. :)

i have to agree with the DD write-up...this is an awesome use of negative space...i love the cheeky concept behind it. i love that you've chosen to go with monotone for this one other than your usual slightly-desaturated color style.

ps. congrats on DD :)
