Artist's Comments

The space, the bench, and the lighting in this room are at least as pretty as anything on the walls.

Daily Deviation

Given 2006-08-06

Girl Speaks To Woman by =Konijntje It's funny ... this deviation was suggested twice by two different deviants. There's something that calms me in this photo. Museums tend to do that. That ... and it's very well composed and nice use of negative space! (Suggested by `rapidograph and Featured by `cweeks)

Mathematics, rightly viewed, possesses not only truth, but supreme beauty – a beauty cold and austere, without appeal to any part of our weaker nature...sublimely pure, and capable of a stern perfection. B. Russell

I think this is great Ms. M! I love the way the lighting works and the relative size of viewer to what is being viewed. Nice work.

I agree with you... it is a lovely space, that is lit with the same kind of care that went into the artwork on display.

I like the way you handled the open space, it makes the photo interesting, even though it looks simple at first glance! Nice tones, too!

Alice came to a fork in the road...
"Which road do I take?"she asked.
"Where do you want to go?"responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know,"Alice answered.
Then said the cat,"it doesn't matter"
