hmm. It seems that my reaction is atypical. My first reaction (and second and third) was "aaaaccckkk the giant sunflowers are attacking. And they're going to take out the power lines."

As always though great color and composition. :D

aha! Flower as in flower and power as in those powerlines? I took some similar photos of powerlines, it's fun to see how different they are, I though power lines were very similar in ever country...

A nice contrast between the colours and the natural/man-made: flower/power lines.

I thought that you recently took your last sunflwer picture ;)

This is a nice one. I like the fact that the sunflower is blurry, but that it still is an important part of the picture.

Well done.

It took me a second to connect the title with the photo... I thought it was subtle, but maybe I'm just not awake enough to look at art :P It adds a lot to the meaning of this piece, in my opinion.

The vignetting on the upper corners is a curious feature. It seems like it draws my attention to the powerlines, and the powerlines to the...thing holding them. (I guess I really am tired...). That leads the viewer's eye to the sunflower. This is cool, because although the flower is out of focus (but not too much; yay f/10), I think it's the main subject of focus.

I like the negative space in the sunflower. I'm not completely sure why I like it; maybe because the subject is in a sense half-nothing. (Tell me if that didn't make sense.)

Lastly, the contrast between symmetry in the powerlines, frame center, and the asymmetry of the flowers on either side of the frame (and even the clouds, to some extent) is nicely thought out and well executed. I really like this photo. :)

Oh, yeah, and nice colors ;)
